Chattanooga Symphony & Opera
Strings in our Schools

The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera sponsors a program to give elementary students the outlet to learn specialized instruction in orchestral strings. Allen Elementary School is one of the schools that the CSO has agreed to sponsor a program.

Currently, students in 4th and 5th grade are admitted to the after-school ensemble free-of-charge, taking care of their own instrument rentals and purchasing their instrumental method book. Students can choose between violin, viola and cello.

Application to the program begin in the fall; interested students should fill out the Google Form below.

CLASSES FOR THE FALL OF 2022 BEGIN EVERY TUESDAY ON SEPTEMBER 6. Each session is from 3:15-4:15.
