Allen Pre-K
Allen Elementary offers two pre-k options: Income Eligible Pre-K and Tuition-Based Pre-K.
Income Eligible Pre-K is funded through federal and state funds and is designed to give students the proper foundation for Kindergarten. The program is open to those Hamilton County residents who meet state income guidelines.
Students must be 4 years old by 8/15 and meet household income requirements to qualify for the program.
To be eligible for Income-Based Pre-K, a student must be 4 years old by August 15, 2026, to apply. Students who are 5 years old by August 15 should register for kindergarten. Families interested in a seat in a Tuition-Based Pre-K classroom setting should complete the standard Pre-K application.
Pre-K Hours are 8:30-2:45. Teachers will communicate with families about drop-off and dismissal procedures.
