Hamilton County offers
two pharmacies to all of our employees.
Employees, retirees and dependents on our medical plans are eligible to use our pharmacies.
- Generic prescriptions are free
- Non generic or preferred brands will have a small co-pay
Employees who are part time or not on our medical plans are eligible to use our pharmacies if the prescription is written by a provider at the One-to-One Health Clinic. (The pharmacy and clinics have a list of medications they use for this group of employees.)
- 30 day supply is $5
- 90 day supply is $10
Benefits of using our pharmacies:
- The Hixson pharmacy offers mail order at no cost to the employee. Mail order is for maintenance medications. Refridgerated items and narcotics can not be mailed.
- The pharmacies offer over the counter items at cost to all employees. You can purchase items such as vitamins, over the counter medications, sunscreen, baby formula, etc. all at cost.
- The pharmacies offer free diabetic supplies including meters and strips.
