Principal's Corner

Welcome to Allen Elementary!

Allen Elementary is one of the best places to learn, grow, and achieve!  Great care is taken at Allen Elementary to maintain a learning climate that is characterized by a commitment to high academic standards, presented in a nurturing and enthusiastic environment.

Our teachers are committed to continual professional growth as they strive to provide our students with the highest level of rigorous instruction and best practices.  We are proud of our recent performance scoring straight A’s on the TCAP State Report Card for 2011--2015 Achievement.  We have been recognized this year of ranking in the top 5% and named as a Reward School for Performance.   To have this type of success, it takes a team effort from the whole school.

We are very fortunate to have an exceptionally talented and dedicated staff that enjoys partnering with our parents and the community to ensure that each student receives an exemplary educational experience.  With dozens of volunteers working diligently each week, our parents remain a vital aspect of our success.  Together the parents and teachers are focused on creating a safe, caring, and interactive environment where our students feel valued and are motivated toward their development of social and academic growth.

We take pride in having one of the best Parent Teacher Associations in Hamilton County.  The Allen PTA has been recognized by the HCDE Council of PTAs in recent multiple years, as the number one school who generously volunteers numerous hours to the needs of our students, teachers, and staff. In 2015-2016, Allen PTA was recognized for surpassing ALL Hamilton County schools, including the magnet schools, in having the most volunteer hours.  Thank you Allen PTA.

We welcome you and would be delighted to meet you and/or take you on a tour of our school.

Please feel free to contact me or anyone else on our staff if you need additional information.
